At SCTV we believe most of the knowledge you need to be able to do things is out there somewhere. The internet gives you access to all the information you need, usually for free, but it can be difficult to pull it all together to be useful to you. We created SCTV to make learning a new skill or a subject easier through the use of video.

2: What is the purpose of SCTV?

The purpose of SCTV is to create communities of people with common interests to share knowledge, learn new skills, improve existing skills and make it eay and inexpensive to learn a new subject.

3: How is the content organised?

Although SCTV is an internet TV company it is similar to any other TV company. We provide a range of Channels to suit peoples' personal interests. Each Channel contains a number of Programmes and each Programme has one or more Series of Episodes. This way we can break down the information into simple building blocks, with each episode lasting on average 8-10 mins. Just enough time to grab a coffee and and take some time our for you.

4: What is the Freeview Channel?

The Freeview Channel shows Episodes selected at random from all the Series we produce. The Freeview Channel will be continually updated with a selection of new episodes that can be accessed for free.

If you come back often enough, you'll probably find you eventually view complete programmes for free, if you can wait that long!

5: If some of the content is free why do I have to buy some of it?

There are costs in producing high quality content created by subject matter experts. If you like what you see in a free episode and would prefer not to wait to collect all the content for free, you can choose to buy all the Episodes in a Series.

Even when our content is not free we charge only a tiny fraction of its value so that you can have it all at your fingertips. You can alos take advantage of our Channel Packages and benefit from significant savings.

6: Where does the content come from?

Each subject on SCTV is hosted by a different specialist in their field. This means you get practical advice from experts at a fraction of the cost of attending one of their Seminars. Apart from the fact the information is on video you will see information delivered as if you were in the same room as the presenter.

7: How do I get the best value from the site?

By becoming a regular visitor to the site you'll be able to update your skills and knowledge on a regular basis. The best value for money is to subscribe to a Channel and get access to all the content for a regular subscription fee. If you take advantage of our annual subscriptions, on average, you'll get 12 months viewing for the price of only 10. Our Channel Packages offer the best value, where you can get access to multiple programmes with big savings over the individual programme subscriptions.

8: What are the advantages of becoming a subscriber?

As a subscriber you can pay a monthly fee per training programme, spreading the cost of your investment; in most cases this is often no more than the cost of a monthly magazine publication. You can pay on an Annual basis and make substantial savings or subscribe to Packages to save even more moeny over making individual programme purchases.

9: What are Events and why would I want to attend?

We hold both On-line Events and Live Events to help you get the most of the skills or knowledge you gain from our TV episodes.

At our Events you'll meet the people behind each of the TV programmes on SCTV. They will help you apply the skills or knowledge you found within our TV episodes. You will also be able to network with other individuals to share ideas and make new contacts in your area.
